Hobby Club
We have a ‘Hobby Club’ which conducts classes in Modern Dance & Lawn Tennis. Children can come and pursue their interest through these classes.
Sports & fitness
Uniquely designed races every year emphasize balancing of mental agility along with physical fitness. These test the skills and adeptness of our tiny tots in accomplishing a task & not just reaching to the finishing line.
Aptitude Games
We conduct Aptitude Games for kids between 2.5 yrs. to 8yrs. every year; these fun learning games stretch brain muscles of kids in directions it never existed and test reasoning ability and speed.
Field trips
Field trips and special outings reinforce classroom lessons. Our children have visited the Domino’s, Ram Mandir, Buddhadeva nursery and Natural history museum a part of “out of class” learning.
Special assemblies
Special assemblies illustrating a particular concept expose our kids to an array of English skits & rhymes, Yoga & other physical activities, life skills, values, Dance & drama, throughout the year.
Holistic Development
Our curriculum Extends beyond number & alphabets. It also encourages physical education, art & craft, scientific temperament and soft skill. We furnish many opportunities to our tiny tots to take part in co-curricular activities to broaden their insight. We conduct many competitions like bookmark competition, Drawing competition, Intersection quiz, Intersection spoken English competition, Fancy dress, Diya decorations, Dough modeling, storytelling competition, & rhymes competition just to name a few.

SUMMER CAMP
The School has many firsts to its credit. It was the first school to start Its Very popular SUMMER Camp. The summer camp is held every year starting from the 1st week of May. Kids of ages 2.5 years -14 years from various schools across the city take part in our summer camp activities. The camp runs for 14 days wherein children learn Non gas cooking ,various sporting group games, pool activities and rain dance, innovative art and craft activities like flower making, terracotta-clay modeling, printing, Hindustani vocal music, and shloka chanting. The registration for the camp starts in April.
Teachers Training institute
2006 saw the introduction of Montessori teacher’s training Institute offering One year diploma and six month certificate course. This is the first of its kind between the two rapidly developing cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.

A GLOBAL SCHOOL-ISA (International School Award) Affiliation
The ISA journey of Happy Hours began with a WISH. A wish to be a global school – a school wherein learning would transcend all boundaries and barriers.
Reflecting upon our ISA journey, we bustle with great pride and contentment. Happy Hours became the first preschool in Odisha to bag the prestigious ISA. The collaborative activities with partner schools have truly added an international dimension to our curriculum, fostered sensitivity towards global issues & established strong cross-cultural ties. Working on the ISA projects has substantially impacted the students’ learning and teachers’ professional development.
Happy Hours runs with the philosophy that “fun leads to learning” combining the traditional Montessori Method with the more interactive Play-way participatory approach.
